I made a movie with sony vegas and it is saved as a widescreen movie. It's saved as 608x336 pixels at the moment. I wanted to burn it as a widescreen dvd, but it stretched the image vertically. I used this guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

I have a pretty simple question. How do I go about burning my avi in a widescreen format? Thanks.

the stretching vertically is normal. its going for an anamorphic encode, using 16:9 tag. it will resize properly during playback.
otherwise you can encode as 4:3, resize to 704x352 and add 64pixel on top and bottom to make it 720x480.
