I'm having a huge with nero vision express, everytime I try to burn a file that I downloaded from the net it goes through the process and after I do the menus and it starts transcoding, after the transcoding is finished I get the Burn process has failed and it's driving me up the wall can any one help me with this problem.
@sharkdvd Can you post your nero burn log? Nero gives you the option to save the file on a burn. Save it, copy it, and post it here. Just be sure to edit out your name and serial number in the log. It is usually at the top of the burn log. With a burn log, many issues can be seen. Creaky is the expert on these logs, but i will give your log the once-over and let you know if i can find any problems if you post it. Others out there waiting for more info/data will be able to jump in to help you also.
im having trouble with it im using version 3 and im creating my own dvd, put the files on there, menus, sound etc it goes to the last step the burn step i assume then it goes into saying processing the menus or something and gives the me the green bar and eventually its like the program just stops and exits, taking me back to my desktop very strange any help sorry if its not so clear what im tryin to do basically putting files from my computer onto a dvd is my goal thanks
I had the same trouble as you with Nero and it was very frustrating I found that if I go to vision express from the list, then click on make a dvd then click on the select a file then check Ihave a dvd empty disc in my writer ( Iusually use the dvd-r discs) then click next and just follow the instructions from the screen I have had no bother. I have no Idea what I was doing wrong before but I never fail to do a good copy now, anyway I hope that this helps...REBELLER
rebeller do u usually burn to the hard drive at first or just burn straight to your dvd - r im using verbatim lightscribe dvds so i dont think thats a problem right?
ok did it ur way rebeller thru the menu on the left got a lil further this time got to the end i chose burn at 2x btw anyways at the top it gives u 2 options..something about menus and then burning it did all my menus and such and was doing ok for about 10 min i left the room cause its a lengthy process and came back and it went to my desktop and exited again on its own grrrrr
sorry I didn't get back straight away. Idon't usually tell it any speed I just press next then I do the Title, which is easy to do,and Icopy straight to the Burner anyway hope it helps you guys...reb.
im goin to try it 2night on my max speed of 8 but i highly doubt it works dont think its cause i have 256 mb of ram do ya?
In answer to your question about verbatim discs. It makes no difference.I think it records a max speed anyway,as I say I don't bother with the speed ( if I'm doing a c.d. audio I do then but not with the dvd's)I've found out that this formula works for me and I think it should for you , don't worry about the 256 ram give it your best shot and good luck..reb..this is for Imac 222 . again good luck reb.

i was browsing the nero section. Think my problem of express shutting down could be because i hadnt got the latest firmware for my burner? That was like the #1 thing alkohol had listed in his guide for using vision express?
