I was trying to mod my xbox with aladdin live. Xbox turn on to ms dash showing only evox logo on the begining in the upper left corner. But it seemed that the chip didn't work correctly. Xbox acted like it wasn't modded exept the evox logo on the begining with orange light on the eject button. After few tries to turn in on with mod on it started to turn on even with green light, and after that when i tried to turn it on it turned on and off for 3 times and started flashing green light. But what's even weireder the fan is very loud and I can eject dvd tray but I can't turn xbox off.
Well iv never encountered this before. First comment is did you install the chip properly? You have a NON-MS bios but your XBOX still boots the MS dash, thats an easy fix but all your other problems are.... odd to me. Heres what i would try... Get something called, Slayers auto installer 2.6 Final. With that flash a new bios to your chip (flash= install) And then install Evox and all that other good stuff with it aswell. wait,.. damnit, you said that the dvd tray wont open. OK, i think its one of these two things, 1. You didnt install the chip properly. (it happens) 2. you have a "bad" (or atleased a seriously messed up) bios on that chip. I dont really know what to tell you, iv never heared of that much screwing up all at once. Like i said make sure its installed properly and try again. Hopefully someone of more use to you will help out and post. sorry
