Are you trying to tell us how to put a pic in our sigs which most people know how to do anyway or are you asking for help on how to do it. Anyway follow these steps if you don't already know:

    1) Find the pic you want and save it to your hard drive
    2) Go to http://www.imageshack.us/ (or another alternative)
    3) Upload the pic
    4) Copy the url address
    5) Type this in the signature field but minus the commas "[IMG]"

ak49er, you do realize you're using the wrong image tags for this site, right?

*shrugs* it's always been that way. you have to toss an asterisk or a space or something in and say "remove asterisk" or "remove spaces" when putting that in your sig.

because the picture needs to be hosted online and image tags are required for the site to code it properly.

are you sure you have the correct image tags? and that you've hosted your picture online somewhere and have put the link to that picture properly between those image tags?

also, keep it below 80 kb. and not too large height/length-wise, as it can screw up the viewing of the threads.

This would be my first attempt to add a picture in my sig. If it is too large, I will edit it. Two of my granddaughters.

the pic is good, bruce. btw, those are lovely granddaughters you have there. you must be very proud! :D

but now your sig box is a bit big. could you run the text in more of a paragraph form, filling the lines out a bit, to shorten the height of the sig box a bit? lol, it would decrease the amount of scrolling necessary a good chunk. other than that, all good, amigo :)

    Auslander, thanks.

My signature box is in paragraph form. It may be the resolution you are running. That is why I said that I will reduce the picture size, if it is too large.

Question for you. Did the signature start looking different to you, after I added the picture?

no, it looks the same, it's just that picture about doubles the size of your siggy box. what i meant by paragraph form was, instead of putting a bit of information, skipping a line, then putting more and skiping to another line in your sig, could you line it up and use punctuation to seperate your typed stuff, so as to shorten your sig box. the picture is just fine in size! honest :D have a good one :)
