Which Plextor would you Recommend

If you were going to purchase a plextor internal dvd rw which would you choose and why?

BTW .. the Plextor PX740 is a BenQ DW1640

No, not meant as a poll so to speak. Just wondering what the people in the know would choose from the plextor line. I have read that they are some of the best. I take it from your post that the BenQ is excellent as well.

BenQ, Plextor, NEC, Pioneer, LG, LiteOn, Sony .. they are all excellent drives .. in my opinion though, the Plextor are overpriced

 

I bought a Plextor 712A and it is perfect for me. Paid about $60. I don't need the faster 716A because I never burn faster than 8X and dual layer discs still are too expensive, so I don't care that my drive can only burn S/L discs.

 

i noticed that when i go to burn a movie onto my plextor it will start burning it & then about 30% will come up with a error. I hate it b/c it ruins my dvd-r media. I was wondering what shall i do? I am using the dvd decrypter ..
