I have two .AVI files I want to edit, join together then shrink to fit on 1 DVD. Both files are around 750MB, when I use Vision Express to drag the two files into a project then save as one .AVI file the resulting file is not about 1.5 GIG (as I would expect) but gets to 62GIG (SIXTY TWO) then fills up my HDD and the operation stops.

Why is this happening? Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

The problem is that I need to edit both the .Avi files (by cutting two frames of 0.4second high pitched SCREECHES out of the film) before I convert to VOB then burn. The pre and post file sizes are in my above posting. obviously I'm going to have problems converting a 60+ Gig Avi file!
