One of the better computer inventions in the last 10 years was the re-usable CD media [CD-RW]. However, after several burns...sometimes even after a couple...the CD-RW simply goes bad. WHY? And, some are "clean as a whistle"--without a scratch, that is. I'm sure many experienced similar frustrating problems dealing with these unreliable CDs. The question is: How can u repair the CD-RW so it can burn again? Please reply with a software solution b/c i'm tired of throwing these useless Cds away.
when you erase the disc make sure you erase full and not quick erase, this may help. Also get good media and not cheap RW's
Yer i got one with my first burner and i've always done a full erase, and it still works till this day and thats almost 5 ta 6 years ago
