hi, my stand alone dvd player, plays DivX movies, the only problem is that higher bitrate skip, and the audio fizzles out for a period of a few seconds, thus making the movie unwatchable and leaving the CD-R as frisbee material.
I have noticed that movies at 1000 kb/s or less, ideally 700 kb/s for
standard 700mb anamorphic movies plays perfectly and is crisp.
If anyone can provide a quick outline, or point me in the direction of a tutorial that would be awesome, i have looked in the "guide"
section of afterdawn but it seems this issue is not covered.
Any and all help, is greatly apprecaited
    Thank You

Try AutoGK. With the standalone compatibility modes Home Theatre profile VBV settings are enabled for both DivX and XviD.
