Hey, big time noobie here with a question. I got my xbox modded. From reading around the internet and not knowing any of this stuff I know my box has unleash x on it with linux installer i believe. I just bought a subscription card to live but when i go to the live menu it says "a network connection could not be created" when it goes to the connection status it says IP not confirmed. Is there a way to get around this? or a way to get rid of unleash x so i can play halo 2? I've read about taking out the chip but I don't know if I have a chip, i'm pretty sure it was sofmodded. As I said I don't know about any of this stuff but if someone could help me out that would be great! Thanks.
Well...if you would have read more...or have gone to a certain site, you would have read that you need your xbl gamertag on your xbox and have connected to live b4 you have softmodded your xbox...or if you hardmodded there should be no problem. Just trying making your ip and dns automatic...that might be your problem.
