    Hi

I have lots of short clips I have encoded into .m2v & .wav to author using TMPGenc, eventually ending up with loads of clips I can put onto a DVD.

The thing is, when I author each separate clip, surely I will get the same ifo / vob filenames? Will just dragging & dropping these using Nero cause a problem, and will I keep getting "overwrite same file name" problems?

How do I author the 20 or so clips to go onto one dvd, without joining them, and have each clip as a new chapter?

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

    Cheers,
    Ian

You can try using Nero visionexpress. It's a complete authoring tool for most types of video, complete with menu screen. It should convert the file format too, but if it can't it will atleast tell you at the start to save wasting time.

I have also been told that TMPGenc DVD Author will do the same ... if I open up TDA, I start new project & keep adding the differently named m2v & wav files into a "list" until it tells me the DVD is full up? Will that work? Then TDA can author it to burn ....

Am I along the right lines there?
