Can't read/burn DVDs drive only reads CDs now?????? I noticed this problem recently. I own a sony DVD RW. I searched on Google & someone had the same problem which they fixed by buying a new burner drive. Before I do that, what are any troubleshooting I can try? Sony support emailed me some but they failed. Need Help guys thanks.
That happened to my HP drive before and the people at the store could not fix the problem - they had to replace ... wish I could give more info than that. Maybe someone else will read this and be able to provide better assistance.
