Xbox does not boot up in chip mode, only boots up normally, ehy please help, will pay.

My xbox was working fine, had maxtor 200gb hardisk in there, got it chipped, with duo2 or something, had loads of games on it. i used to press the power on/off button and it would load with evolution x, now it doesnt. it just goes through the normal microsoft page.

i can see some of my saved game data in the files.

want my chip mode back.

the guy who chipped my xbox has left town, cant find no one to help me.

so i opened the xbox up, to see if maybe one of the chip wires had come loose. As the xbox had been moved around and stuff. all wires intact

what can i do now.

first thing: can you still boot burned media, such as a boot disk?

 

Ya i just had the same problem too but i can still play games on it no problem i just cant get evox to work on my xbox im thinking a bad file but want someone else help on this thanks

 

I dont know, im going to create a boot up disk now and check.

this sounds like it could be the d0 solder point do all the lights on the chip light up what chip is it and version xbox

I having the same prob, i can boot to evox but the loading screen get stuck when i try to boot some software or game from hd. The games load ok on booting. 1 more thing, if I keep the power button pressed then it does not get stuck at the loading screen but I also can not flash the bios.

 

ya check the solder points they are fine..mine doesnt freeze all my screen does when it boots up is take to the orignal dashboard but when i put in a burnt disk it plays fine so im stump there
