Is there any difference between SD 2.8 and SD 2 when creating an image in Alcohol 120%?

Safedisc v2 is the proper Alcohol setting for all Safedisc 2.x protections.

More advanced version might have added your current version of Alcohol on the 'Black List' so you cannot use it to emulate safedisc mode (needed if you can't do a perfect copy and you want to play the CD anyway).

For instance, Safedisc 2.6 might have blacklisted Alcohol 1.3.0 but Alcohol 1.4.0 might properly emulate safedisc 2.6. safedisc 2.8 might have blacklisted Alcohol 1.4.0 so you need 1.4.1 to emulate SD 2.8 and so on.

It's like Nero's 5.10.x.y versions that are mainly released to defead Unlock Code serial generators ...
