    Ok, I backed up a pc game. Burned the .cue file with Nero. Did everything I read here to do. Everything looked good, autoplay started but during the install process I received the following error...

    An installation support file
    C:\DOCUME~1\owner\LOCALS~1\Temp1{3D9231F6-A287-4222-9EBC-519BB206F590}setup/inx could not be instatlled

    Data error (cycle redundancy check)

    Does any one know what this means? Thank you so much! You guys are great.

    That file (very important, because it will modify the Windows registry entries, needed for the application to be installed) is probaly corrupted. Try to get a brand new one.

    There are three possibilities for that file being bad:
    1) the image was bad before burning (scan it with CDMage to check that) and the file was already corrupted (wery likely);
    2) the file got corrupted during burning (unlikely);
    3) the file that was on the original CD was bad (possible).
