Ok just one more question for the night, keep in mind that yes I'm a newbie and thats why I am posting in the newbie section. I've notived that some of the movies I have backed up so far look kinda blotchy in the black segments of the movie. I've used several different types of media and all have given me the same result. When i'm ripping disks I use DVDFab v2.9.5.2 Beta 3 (thanks to some people's help with another question I had earlier) and I'm using DVD Shrink to write the ISO file. And then DVD Decrypter to burn the disk. (i've had a few problems with nero and the past, but never with decrypter burning the disk. any help would be appreciated. Val
what are the movies you are trying to back up? Sounds like a compression problem! Or it could be pixelations which means a media problem. You'll have to tell us what disks you are using.
