I converted advent children original japanese dvd to 700 mb divx and the quality is great. but my dvd player does not support divx. i want to convert the divx file to an avi file, but i keep getting a larger file than the divx file. how can i get a 700 mb divx file to be converted into a 650 mb avi file so i can get it fit to one cd?, cause i dont have a dvd writer drive. p.s. dvd players support avi right?
.divx is just a hack/extension of avi. Anything that supports avi, should support divx. Anything that isn't supported (menus, etc.) should just be skipped. No, most DVD players do not support avi. Those that do only support certain types of avi's. For best quality you should always re-encode from the original source. Why 650MB's? You only have 74min CDR's?
yeah, that's right. then how about 2 svcd's with the same quality, or do u know anywhere where i can get the advent children movie on one svcd downloaded?
