Decypter Trouble

    Ok so i start to decypt my dvd with DVD decypter and it always gets about 50 percent done and gives me a read error. i can hit cancel and it keeps going or retry and it keeps giving me the error. what could solve this? thanks

    make sure the disk is clean

    @jamestheg,

    I'm assuming you're using the Mode, Iso, Read R to rip or decrypt your movie into your hard drive right? I highly recommend using the Mode, File F to rip/decrypt to your hard drive - it's more safer and more likely to have a successfully ripped. Please check the following "settings" on your DVD Decrypter:

    at CSS
    [tick or check] on Brute Force --> I/O key exchange
    On Failure: use key from another file: Yes?

    at I/O
    [tick or check] on Ignore read errors

    at General
    [tick or check] on Remove Macrovision Protection
    at Removal Method: Aggressive

    at "ISO Read Mode" and "File Mode"
    [tick or check] on all of the Remove Protections
