i got banned from xbox live cause they detected my new EvoX modchip. how do i get back on live?

how can i get back on live. is the only way of getting a new xbox or can i just change my IP Address or something? plz help me out. i love xb live.

im sorry us modders like to use our xboxs for everything they are good for? what is the point in not using all of its potential? i thoroughly enjoy playing NES, GBA, PSX, N64, SNES, GB and other games and being able to use it as a computer... how can you not think that is cool?

 

First of all what kind of mod chip do you have evox is not a chip but a dash board and did M$ ban ur gamertag? IP? or HD and eeprom? And did u have your chip on when going on live?

 

i have no clue wat they banned and i did go onlive wit my modchip on by accident. i dont no wat modchip i hav.

sorry man, your box is banned, in order to play your xbox on live again, you would need a new eeprom (motherboard serial info) and a new hard drive. these are matched when you 1st sign onto xbox live, so both need to change in order to get back on live. u can reflash your eeprom with a new one (xbox-scene.com, guy sells em in the forum for like 10 bux) however, you have to buy a new hd. once done you can get back online. However, i would recommend u getting a new GT as well, your GT has been flagged and they know that your box was modded, and if u use this GT, it will most likely get banned again.

 

Yup but before he even does that which i was going to expalin it is kind of important that he knows what kind of mod chip he has so he can install an new HD easily.

 

that would be almost common since i would think though. I mean, he went through the trouble of having it modded, either bought a modded box or had it chipped. at some point i'm sure the question, "what's it chipped with?" woulda had to been asked. i mean, i would assume so at least...........

and to the guys that think softmodding is better, all i can say is WOW. get a chip, call it a day.

the guys name is zodiac on xboxscene, he has the eeproms, just tell him what version xbox you have and he'll get you a new eeprom # for 10 bux, as for the HD, hop on ebay and get onethey're just regular computer hd's

 

Yeah just find a cheap old HD anywhere....plus anything is better than the thompson in the 1.0!
