need help burning a movie file into a dvd-r!!!

hey i have no idea what to do but i have a movie file that i am burning into a DVD-R but i have NO idea how so can some one tell me what program i need and how i can do this =)

 

a dvd or a downloaded file??

if its a dvd try dvd shrink or dvd decrypter (freeware) or

better program

CloneDVD 2 with anydvd

Its a downloaded movie file and i want to copy it to a dvd-r so that i can watch it..... lol

 

ok trust me i am a real noob at this stuff so can u tell me exacty what programs i need and how to use them to copy my downloaded movie file to a DVD-R cuz i am really lost here :S
