I recently dropped my 32 inch Phillips flat screen tv and now when I plug it up, it will initially power up but not display any sound or picture, then you will hear a popping sound and then it cuts off. I continues to do this each everytime I try and turn it on. The problem is that it will cost about 175 dollars to get this thing fix which I don't have right now.

I was wondering if there is a common problem that can be fixed since I dropped it and just wondering if i cracked the vaccum tube or dislodge something that can easily and cheaply be replaced and installed? Am I wrong?

Well, if you dropped it and get no picture or sound now and it's making funny noises I think you're gonna have to take it in to get fixed or nothing at all. That doesn't sound like something you can fix on your own.
