Can anyone help. After following instructions from a previous thread, I was advised to update the firmware for my DVD burner. I have downloaded the file, but cannot run it (it is a .bin file) What is the correct procedure to run this file? Thanks
this isnt my final, so dont hold me to this but u can try a couple of things... i believe you should able to open the bin file using Isobuster, copy the contents of the file into a folder on your harddrive and run the firmware update. On the other hand, you might be able to come up with a ".cue" file to associate with your ".bin" file and burn onto a cd-r using nero; not sure what you burn with though... good luck
need more info as to what burner you have and what verson of firmware (ie the full name of the .bin file) ?
