I have heard some comments around the Web about how if an MPEG-4 file plays in Quicktime, it won't necessarily play on an iPod Video.

I used PSP Video 9 to convert a full length movie into MPEG-4 format. It plays in Quicktime and in iTunes just fine. I thought I might have a codec lurking on my computer that is helping it to work (which would mean it wouldnt work on an iPod) but i don't have anything along the lines of XviD or DivX under my Add/Remove Programs list.

I know it is hard to say whether this will work on iPod Video yet because noone really has one, I guess, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on this ASAP. Thank you so much.

If you convert your video files using PSP9, they [bold]will[/bold] work on your iPod.
