hi,noob here, first of all cool site well done

secondly i hope this is the correct forum to post for help,i dont want to annoy anyone with my first post.
I've checked for similar enquiries but as there are so many variations and stuff i was hoping to get some 'specific' help with my problem.
right,i successfully completed a burn to dvd-r from divx following your guides, however i have just tried another project unsuccessfully using the exact same procedure, the guides i used are from divx to dvd and use the software recommended, but on this attemopt i have no sound on the dvd,i also failed with this on another attempt but realised i never checked the box within tmpgenc to seperate the audio and video to different folders, but on this attempt i did but there is no sound whatsoever, can somebody please advise on what i have done wrong and if there is a way to resolve this
    many thanks

Without knowing what programs you are using I am having to guess a little but the following info from Batch's post of 7/6/2004 resolved my problem.

What movie has no sound? Could it be as simple as your player is defaulting to the DTS soundtrack and your home entertainment rig doesn't play DTS sound?
