Totally Frustrated with D-Link please help me

    okay here is my problem i just got a laptop and i want to install the stupid wireless adaptor D-Link DWL-G650 and i have no cd my problem is that i don't kno how to install the driver for it i downloaded the software and drivers from the dlink.com and installed the exe. file but there is another folder that says drivers and i have no clue what to do with it please help me i hope i didn't confuse you

    i look into device manager and it has the stupid (!) i go to update driver and i tryed selecting the folder that i got from d-link but it does nothing so i am thinking that i have to copy and past it into a windows folder but i have no rel clue i tryed everything that i can think of

    check that windows drivers folder that it doesn't have subfolders for different versions of windows.

    i did and there is a folder that says xp and then one 4 98 and 2000 but there is no way to install the drivers there is no exe. file. you can see what i mean by downloading it yourself at the d-link website i downloaded the 4.3 version and it says it has the drivers but it dose not install them. im so frustriated please help me.

    this might help the files that is in the driver folder are called
    A3AB.cat
    A3AB.sys
    DWLAB.dat
    DWLInst.dll

    don't need .exe file for installation. goto the device in device manager, click update driver, select that folder with the xp driver & than ok. xp should than update the driver.

    there are so many revisions for that router maybe you have the wrong drivers.theres a 650,650+,650 revision a,rev b,rev c.hope this helps.theres pictures to help you out to pick the right one

    i did go to devicemanger and selected that folder and it didn't do anything

    LMAO k i had my cousin show me and now i feel dumb but now that i know how to do it i can see that what you were saying make sence thanks for your help i really appreciate it.
