Hello. Im new to afterdawn.com cuz i havent had any problems with my dvd burner. Anyways, lately ive only been able to use dvd shrink, but when it comes to actually burning the dvd, nero street smart only goes up to about 94% and then it says that it cannot be completed. Update your version of Nero, they are up to 6.6.0.16 now. Go here and download "Update-Package 1" - http://www.nero.com/us/nero-up.php Update your firmware, your 3 versions behind. Go here and download "2.1A" version firmware: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1904 Burn it 2X but, no faster than 4X.
i clicked on the 2.1A just like you did and then i click on save to disk and a new window opens up and its a blank page.
Try right clicking on the link and then left click on "Save Target As...", then save it where you want to save it. Also, don't forget to update Nero: Update your version of Nero, they are up to 6.6.0.16 now. Go here and download "Update-Package 1" - http://www.nero.com/us/nero-up.php
Memory is too low, try to free up more memory if you can, by going to START, RUN and type "msconfig" or another way is "ctrl+alt+del" and disable any running programs that you don't need at this moment in prior to burning. You're writing too close to the edges, try to set it to at least 4360MB. Your Nec burner's firmware is out of date, it needs to update to the current firmware so it can recognize the media and it's id code. Either your burner doesn't like the media you're using, or the media is bad (likely to be low quality media). Roxio is not very friendly with Nero, you need to completly wipe out Roxio from your system -- this is, especially you have Nero installed on your computer already. Go here http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/store/15199 and get Rioxio Zapper to clean Roxio out.
