   Creaky advised me to uninstall 'those horrid gear filters' to cure the CRC errors when burning dvd's - on doing a search on how to do this I came across the fact that these get installed with ITunes - I had this installed (don't remember why) but not using it - when removed ITunes all the Gear stuff went too!
   
   Just thought you'd like to know.
