Your Nero is 3 versions behind, update to the latest 6.6.0.16 Your burner's firmware is 2 versions behind, update it to the current, so it can recognize other media and codes better. Not only that, but it will enhances the burning capability and media compatibility. Go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1974 and get the latest [1.09] for an update on your firmware. You've got tons of memory, but it looks like your CPU is using too much. Try to free up more memory if you can -- this will improves/boost up burning. To free up more ram, go to START, RUN, and type "msconfig" then disable any startup programs that you don't really needed at this time, or another way is "ctrl+alt+del" and disable any running programs that you're not using, so you'll have more ram in prior to burning. This is a high quality media "Verbatim 4X DVD-R", but I'm not sure if it's fake or genuine Verbs. Try another Verbatim 8X DVD+R, or Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD+R to see if you'll have a successful results next time. Again, it's either your burner don't like the media you're using, or your burner needs to update to the current firmware.

Hi there, Humm, this is suppose to be an internal IDE drive ! Why is it not seeing your atapi.sys driver ? Probably have a proprietary motherboard and it uses it's own drivers ? Curious !
looks like it's in an enclosure - "HA 2 TA 0" however you're quite right, in the 'Existing drivers' paragraph, the ATAPI drivers aren't listed, sounds like a need for bmayo's DMA link...
