I have a dvd rom drive and a dvd burner. If I use dual layer disk's what should I use to just coy directly from one discc to the other. I have the trial version of Anydvd and also dvd43 is that enough or do I need more? I've been burning to single layers with shrink so I kind of have an idea about burning. I've just never used dual layers before. Thanks for the help.

Check out the bbmayo guides in my signature. They will answer your questions pretty thoroughly.

    Happy Burning.

Basically you use a burning program that support dual layer burning. Anydvd and dvd43 are programs running in the background to deal with region code and copy protection.

Yes I am using The new version of Nero, It came with my burner. I have a Pioneer 107. I am just wondering what I should use to rip the dvd with so I don't get a flux with the codes. Do I have to go through shrink with no compression and then to the disk or can I just go straight from disk to disk using anydvd or dvd43?

First, you may not want to have anydvd and dvd43 running at the same time. But when either of them is working, you can basically do dual layer burning as single layer burning.
