I have purchased the DRU810 burner for my computer. However, I have no idea how to get the vhs to my computer. I was told I needed a firewire usb cable, but the pins in my cable need to be 13 pin. I have not been able to find anything close to this. My camcorder is 16 years old. Is there another way to upload the tapes to the computer and still be able to edit and copy to DVD?

You'll need some video capture hardware (e.g., ATI All in Wonder, video card, Dazzle dongle, etc.) and some software (Nero, Pinnacle, etc.). Many video cards that allow for watching tv on the 'puter also have video capture capabilty. Some media center PCs already have the hardware and software installed.
