I have 2 questions i have some movies that burned fine and play in my computer but they dont play on dvd player they are vob files whats wrong? I have a vob movie that wont load in clone dvd how do i burn it? Sorry one more question i have a movie that is in cd1 and cd2 i tried to burn it with nero when it gets to the 2nd part is stops with a structure error i used avi2dvd and that dont work how do i put it together and burn it?

First off 90% of the time when a Backup wont play in your DVD Home Player it is due to media issues.

Causes:
1. Cheap Media
2. Your DVD home player dont play backup disc.
3. Your DVD home player plays either DVD-R disc or DVD+R disc and your using the format that isnt suported.

So are you using good media?
Does your DVD player suport DVD-R and DVD+R disc?
Is it DVD+R disc? if so you can booktype it to burn DVD-ROM and make it more compatible.

Always burn at slow speed no faster then 4x.

As of the VOB movie that wont load in CloneDVD are you sure you have all the DVD parts?

For the other CD1 and CD2 files you have do you have Nero Vision Express with your Nero program? if so create a DVD-VIDEO and import the AVI files in that and try converting them that way.

 

MY dvd player does play backups dont know if maybe the disc im using?

 

When i do nero vison it burns the cd1 and when it gets to cd2 it says something about a disc sturcture not supported or something

 

you might have got a bad download then if Nero wont do CD2.

What disc are you using DVD-R or DVD+R?

 

dvd+r but none of the movies that have cd1 and cd2 will burn

 

Is it normal that when you download a movie from pirate bay that they come in cd1 and cd2 i have burnt several and havnt had any problem extracted with winrar and they burnt and worked fine and i downloaded to that just work fine on computer but dont work on my dvd player

 

uasly when they come in CD1 and CD2 it is cause the movie is split in 2. First Half(CD1) 2nd Half(CD2) this is so you can burn them to reguler CD not DVD's. They will fit on a CD-R. but you should bebale to convert the AVI files thats in the CD1 and CD2 to a dvd. So try burning the CD1 and CD2 onto seperate CD-R's and then you should bebale to play them in your DVD Player. The only problem with that is the movie will stop in the middle and you would have to insert the disc 2 to finsih watching the movie.

 

So there is no way to put it on one dvd thats what i want so i dont have to do 2 disc so what i need to do is convert to avi? and how do i do that im sorry i asking so much i just have like 6 movies that i can burn yet

 

is there an easier way to talk to each other than here?
