I have a couple of video files that appear as if they were meant to be widescreen but when played are fullscreen, squished picture, bars on the sides, and all. Now I tried to re-encode the file to fix the aspect ratio using Xilisoft video encoder and it worked, however every time I do this the audio goes out of sync with the video. Is there another way to fix this or am I am I doing something wrong with what I already have? Any help would be appreciated and as always thanks in advance.
.mpg files. I pulled them out of a bin/cue that I downloaded. Also if you know of anything I could join them together with once they're fixed other than TMPGEnc that be a help also. Ever since the trial ran out way back when I could never get it to work again.
