DVD Writer

    My DVD writer does not autoplay. If I insert any CD/DVD, it does not recognize the name of the CD/DVD. If I restart the computer while the CD/DVD is inside the tray, than it recognizes. Please let me know how to fix the problem.

    Double click on "My Computer"
    Right click on the drive icon.
    Select "Properties"
    Click the "Autoplay" tab
    Select the type of media
    Select the action with "do every time"
    or select "prompt each time"

    I downloaded autorun fix tool from microsoft website, ran it and the problem was solved. Thank you anyway
