   i haven an older pc that had problems so i reloaded windows at it still freezes, it makes a weird buzzing sound then freezes up, i have tried the power supply and hard drive any suggestions?

   look at the motherboard at the can shaped objects that are capacitors. they are supposed to be flat topped not domed.
