Recommended Recorder

    I have a question to ask. I am looking for a VCR/DVD recorder/player for someone as a gift. The only thing I am looking for is something that can record on DVD+/-R/RW, and less than $250. Are there any recommendations that you all have?

    As far as multi-format DVD recorder/VCR .. The only one that I'm aware of that is less than $250 is the LiteOn LVC-9006.
