can someone plz tell me how to mod the old maps and after i mod thm how to play thm. because i modded the old maps by copying the games but whenever i play on an old map it has the original map still.
you have to replace it with the original on the actual disc ,you cant just put it on ur hard drive.because they read off the disc,it has to be put onto ur halo 2 disk
It sounds like maybe you have an original copy of halo 2. If you have a mod chip or softmod then you will have to rip the game to your computer. overwright the files and then either burn that onto a disc via iso and alcohal(or another burning program) and then it should work. However if you are renaming the maps then you will have to update the menu file and that sounds like it may be a little to much to work on right now..however if you are interested than you can read up on how to do it and what programs to use.
