Conflict Nero 7/Media Player 10

Does anyone know anything about this conflict.
Since i instaled nero7 the media player does not work well.
It can´t open almost any files.

Can someone help?

what files are you trying to open?

Have you tried right-clicking on the file and selecting 'Windows Media Player', does the player launch? Is their an error? What kind of playback are you gettting? Are you just seeing the Windows background screen with no picture?

 

All kind of media files.
Yes, i get the windows backgraound with no picture.
I have allready found that the conflict is with the Nero Home.
If i don´t install this everything works well.

 

maybe this will help...

open your music folder, right click on any song - properties - change - windows media player - ok - apply - ok.

 

I know that some files cannot be played with some media players, because they have not got the plugins needed, but the media player normally prompts the user with a message saying this.

if what 'guyy' said doesnt work then maybe you could try downloading the necessary plugins, for that file...

i just re-read your post, you say Nero Home is the problem, then, well done you solved the problem. i didnt read your post properly so, you can disregard my post now you know the problem.
