converting multi xvids to 1 dvd-r

i have the entire smallville season 1 in avi format and i need to put them on dvd-r. i want to put them onto 1 dvd-r but i well put onto 2 if needed. all the avi files are 7.8g together so does any1 know a way or a guide that can help me convert all of these and burn them onto 1 or 2 dvd-r. also i want to put a menu or chapters in the dvd so i can navigate between episodes.

 

just forgot there are 22 episodes

 

A simple way would be to try Nero Vision Express.

 

i have nero smartstart. so would i have to pay to get this other nero.

 

Nero StartSmart works like a coordination center for the various Nero programs (e.g. Nero Express, Nero Vision Express, Nero Recode, Nero Burning Rom). If you click on the tiny arrow on the left border, it'll show you which Nero programs you actually have. So you may check whether you have Nero Vision Express this way. If yes, just click on it to use it.

 

i know i dont have it but i still have the serial number for the nero that i bought. can u use the serial to download that program because i have updated my nero before by downloading stuff off thier website!!!
