deleting nero folder

    i recently uninstalled nero(the part that has recode2). i went to add and remove programs and all went well but there is one folder left in my hard drive that won't delete, it is called LIB. i have tried everything and nothing, i get a popup that says, access denine, the disc my be in use or content protected. help. thanks.

    It sounds like you have a toolbar icon (like Smartstart) that runs as soon as you start windows and therefore you cannot delete it because you actually using the file.

    Click Start
    Choose Run
    Type MSCONFIG and press OK

    Choose Startup tab

    Look for a program that has it's origins in the Nero directory and uncheck the box next to it.

    Apply that and it will ask you to Restart the PC.

    Once you have done that a Dialogue box will apear to say you are using a User Defined Configueration. Check the box that says 'Do not tell me this again' and then try to delete the Nero directory.
