DVD aaaarrrrrgggg

    Please help.

    DVD +R (data DVD with avi movies on it).
    IBM Thinkpad T40.

    Here's the issue. This DVD plays just fine on my home PC's with no problems whatsoever. But, when I attempt to play it on my IBM laptop, it doesn't even read any of them. It only says that there is an Audio CD, when I open the contents, it displays; "Track36.cda"

    Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    try to upgrade your dvd firmware ... or yr dvd rom simply cannot understand the media

    Why don't you change the avi movies to a different format. Your laptop most likely can't read the format except for that track.
    There is good software on this site for that.

    [bold]Divx to dvd[/bold] will change the avi format to a dvd compatable format.
