my mpc is 6.4.8.5 version. I'm sure that this version support ratDVD format because the player->formats under options menu, I can see ratDVD file extension listed.

However, I opened a ratDVD file, it said that "Can't create the DVD navigator filter". What's that means ?

I had the same problem. I dont know what it is but I installed WMP10, switched off kerio firewall -maybe it is some conflict because it has crashed and used Ratattack /http://ratattack.cdfreaks.com/ and it played good.

ok, so to playback files created w/ ratdvd, you have to have ratdvd installed, and then get the ratattack package and install that?
