HELP!! - I recently lost my nokia 6230i. If someone uses it can i trace its wherabouts or block it, even if they remove the sim and replace with another sim etc? Please help
First of all what you need to do is contact your network operator and report it stolen this will then place an IMEI bar on that phone so that no-one else can use the handset on the networks. Secondly if you haven't already report it to the police and get an incident report number and keep it for future reference. (you may need to bring along the IMEI (Serial number) for verification of the IMEI stolen. Third unless you know someone really high up in one of the network operators there is no way for a normal user to trace his/her mobile phone. Hope this helps.
