how to turn on book typing

    hey guys , ive got a dell dimension 3000 2.80ghz , 80gb , 512 phillips dvd -/+ drive

    i wa wondering how to access / turn on book typing on my drive , i use dvd santa to convert avi files but its a bit dodgy on my dvd player , sumtimes they dont play . can any one help me out ?

    I couldn't find that type of Philips drive anywhere, but many Philips seem to be re-badged Benqs which are great burners and able to book type, though not all are.
    Post specific information about model # of burner and everyone at afterdawn will try to help.

    Thanks for the link Mort... will have to save it so I give better help next time. It's hard explaining sumthin' when a picture is worth 999 words.

    No problem. I actually have to give the credit to cougar_II (I think, can't remember for sure if that's who it was but I think so) for turning me on to that proggy.
