ive recently tried to copy a dvd movie onto a dvd-rw using nero and at the point where it told me to insert the blank dvd-rw i inserted it but it said i needed a disc with more memroy because the blank disc holds 120 min and the movie is 124 min is there a way to split it onto 2 discs how can i successfully copy it?
You could probably download DVDShrink (free) and use it to compress the movie to fit the DVD5 disc that you are using. This is what I do and it works remarkably well. Check out the guide listed in my sig by bbmayo regarding DVDShrink and DVDdecrypter. Post back with your results.
rump, If you are not using it you need to use Nero's Recode-( Remake a DVD) and it will compress the movie to fit on a DVD-5.
