I have iPod 4th generation. I cant get most played songs to work properly. It only counts the songs if I play them in iTunes. How do I get it to count when I play them on the iPod itself?
Are you sure you listen to the song fully, until the very end ehen it changes song? I know it sounds silly, but it could be the problem. Also, if you play the songs on your ipod, they will not rearrange positions until synched with itunes because they have to cross-transfer data. All the ipod does is log the information. Then once you hook it up to your computer, your play count on itunes will be updated, then in turn, your computer will transfer your renewed data back to the ipod. Hope that isn't too confusing!!
