I purchased Nero 6.6 about a week ago online, and registerd for the free upgrade to Nero 7. I got an email from Nero saying they would email me the registration key after Nov. 2nd. It's now Nov. 3rd and still no key. After Nov. 2nd could mean from here until eternity though Has anyone received thier upgrade key from them yet?
I am haveing same problems with it too....and no one wants to let me know anything....and even ask for them to explain to me a couple things too...conserning the my nero....you have your serial key then you have the on line store globe....well I have the yellow ball of open....not okay or denied....what the hell does open mean.....besides up loading my invoice to them...even though I bought on line...I have also faxed them a few times with copies...in the last couple days....getting to the point that I am thinking of contacting the bank that the card I used and stop payment...am wondering weather a company that will not respond or give you a direct answer to your questions...is worth useing there software...all though I like the nero set up....For the same money I used to upgrade my nero 6 oem to the 6.6 ultra just to get the new nero 7 ultra I can get cyberlink Pro ....which ......I do have a power DVD deluxe player and like it too...but with them atleast you get a response and answers to your emails with in a couple hours...and if you ask them a direct question there you get a response....instaead of a song and dance answer....if nero doesnt do something soon as for answering my Questions directly and or sending me my new upgrade serial....I will be pulling nero and calling the bank and putting a stop payment on the credit card....anduseing some one elses software.....Its a shame when you buy there product and cant evcen get a response to your email's....all thoughthe on line store did respond....but not with a direct answer...but a song and dance.....makes you wonder doesnt it... just an old highway tramp ----Bill----
My nero page request ...just told me I am unedgilable for the upgrade something like thats not a online store version.... and what i did was upgrade an oem version to ultra just did it not two weeks ago...and still have the email that they sent me with my ultra 6 upgrade serial.....sure wish I could get a phone number to talk to the sales dept....sure aint giving a credit card for a teck call......starting to think the nero corp is out to burn people just an old highway tramp ---Bill---
The latest update on the MyNero site https://register.nero.com/eng/login.asp informs the serials will be emailed on the 10th November. Paul
What is Nero 7 suppossed to do that 6 doesn't I just don't see what all the hype is about. Don't get me wrong I uderstand that some of payed for something you haven't gotten yet, but why upgrade to 7 when 6 works like a charm?
Tdisom.......Love your siggy....hehehe... but the one of use with not only 5-1 on our pc ....but out stand alone player's too...better audio tracks for us....then insteed of haveing to use the mp3 pro plug ins for our music edit.. its built in....basically all the extra pluggins you have to pay to use with 6 ...comes in the 7 ....then when you look at the cost of adding those plug in to your 6 ....cheaper to go with the 7 plus a few added extras....but question remains ....how buggy is it going to be...and with nero takes for ever to get in touch ....so we will probally be figureing out our own work arounds.....you know make you think a little...hehehe anyway just an old highway tramp ---Bill---
