I know this is a long shot, but I've been surprised before. So here goes.

I have cox cable and they broadcast all types of music on the cable which you can listen to on the t.v. without any commercial interuptions, the t.v. picture is nothing more than a screen shot, usually of the album cover and some info about the artist. Is it possible to take this music after I record it to DVD-R using my DVD recorder and then somehow get it placed onto a CD-R disk so I can listen to it in my car ?

If you have a DVD Rom on your computer all you do us download to HD and then burn onto CD...oh so easy.
