Programmer?

    i am a definite newbie here so could anyone explain what this programmer thing is that you use to install the Bios in to the Modchip and where i can it.

    the programmer is a piece of hardware you should get with your mod chip (the matrix programmer plugs into lpt or parrallel port on your computer and you use it to install/flash the chip with a bios file.

    thanks alot seamonkey and one more question, do you have to use a router to link the xbox and PC. why can't you just link them with the xbox ethernet cable alone? because i used it to link my laptop to my desktop before and it worked great sharing files and stuff.

    wassup..
    yea, you can just use the crossover cable and nic.

    since you did it before, you'll have no probs connecting to your xbox (just be sure to asign yourself a static ip in teh evox.ini file)
