Need software recomendations

    I recently got a dvd recorder and a dvd burner for my computer. I would like to transfer my home movies from VHS to a dvdrw on my recorder and I would like to then load the movies in to my computer. I would like to edit the movies with chapters and FX. Can anyone recomend some good but easy to use software that will allow me to do this?

    First piece of advice, you will have to have a Video Capture card on your comp so you can load Video to hd. Normally its in MPEG2 format when it hits your HD. If you have Nero you can burn using that prog, I always use NeroVisionExpress3 and I have just completed 9 x 3hour videos using this method.
