You need to edit your Nero serial number. To edit: click on the "pencil & paper icon" on the right hand inside the faded orange bar, after you're done edited, then saves changes. Your Nero is too old, go to Nero site and get "Nero's General Clean Tool" to completely clean/wipe out Nero. Now download the latest from 6.6.0.16 (package #1 & #2 only). You need to update your firmware, go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2140 and get the latest 1.22 for an updated on your burner. Firmware will enhances the burning performances and increase media compatibility. It would be nice if you can add more RAM to boost up your CPU, and or try to disable any unneccessary running programs at the moment. This is not one of the best and or high quality media. Try to burn with high quality media such as Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell (Made In Japan) for your next dvd project. Your burner doesn't like the media you're using. Perhaps, an updated on the firmware will be helpful along with a high quality media (Yuden, Verbatim or Maxell). You don't need that horrible Roxio application/program -- it always conflicts with Nero, therefore, you're making "coasters". Go here http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/store/15199 and get Roxio's Zapper to completely wipe out Roxio from your system. Now reboot your computer and try again. It would be nice if you can search via "regedit" for any Roxio left over, then delete it once found.
