Adding Optical input to Analog receiver?

    Is there any anything that can add an Optical Input to an old Analog receiver? Thanks.

    don't think so............ and even if its possible, sounds like a chore and a half, and costly !! $$$

    however, i did come across this, but its for a sony something... looks like it can be done, with the proper tools and know-how, plus patience.

    appreciate the help but I found something last night, a DAC from Radioshack, cost around $40, thanks.
